Mavuika

Mavuika is a Pyro 5-star claymore user. She is primarily a top-tier on-feild nuke DPS, but she also can be used as a good Sub-DPS and a pyro application for teams that use the Vaporize (e.g. with Mualani), Overload or Melt reactions She is stil considered one of the best damage-dealers in the current meta.

Ascension and leveling up

To fully ascend Mavuika and level her up to level 90 you will need:

• - Mora: roughly 2 million
• - Character EXP: Hero's Wit: 415, Adventurer's Experience: 11, Wanderer's Advice: 12

• - Boss Material: Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core (can be obtained after defeating the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device in Natlan.)

• - Local Specialty: 168 Withering Purpurbloom

• - Enemy Drops: Sentry's Wooden Whistle: 18, Warrior's Metal Whistle: 30, Saurian-Crowned Warrior's Golden Whistle: 36

• - Pyro Gems: Ag­ni­dus A­gate Sli­ver: 1, Ag­ni­dus A­gate Frag­ment: 9, Ag­ni­dus A­gate Chunk: 9, Ag­ni­dus A­gate Gem­stone: 6

Talents

1st priority - Hour of Burning Skies (Elemental Burst)

• Scaling: ATK
• Cooldown: 18s

As you've already noticed, Mavuika's Elemental Burst is not reliant on Energy, but instead, on "Fighting Spirit.". When Mavuika has at least 50% Fighting Spirit, she can consume it all to unleash her Elemental Burst and deals huge nuke damage. Mavuika can obtain Fighting Spirit via the following methods:

• When in combat, Nightsoul points consumed by nearby party members are converted to Fighting Spirit.
• When nearby team members' Normal Attacks hit opponents, Mavuika gains 1.5 Fighting Spirit. This can trigger once every 0.1s.

2nd priority - The Named Moment (Elemental Skill)

• Scaling: ATK
• Cooldown: 15s

Press/tap:

The All-Fire Armaments manifest as a Ring of Searing Radiance. The Ring follows the current active character and attacks nearby opponents at intervals, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG.

Hold:

The All-Fire Armaments manifest as a Flamestrider. In this state, Mavuika can ride the Flamestrider at high speed, or activate its hidden backup propulsion module to temporarily cross various terrain types and glide in mid-air. Mavuika's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks will also be converted to deal Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG which cannot be overridden. When sprinting, she also deals Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG to opponents along her path.

Last priority: Flames Weave Life (Normal attack)

• Scaling: ATK

Just deals physical damage.

Can be obtained from Blazing Ruins domain on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Best Constellations

Mavuika's best constellation is considered to be C2 which is a big damage boost for both her on-field and off-field roles.

Now let's take a closer look at Mavuika's build and best teams:

Artifacts:

The best artifact set for DPS Mavuika is the 4-piece Obsidian Codex, as it provides a massive 40% CRIT Rate increase and 15% DMG bonus while she is on-field in her Nightsoul's Blessing state.

If you are playing her as a sup-DPS/support, then the best choice is Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City.

The best artifact stats are:

• Sands: ATK% or Elemental Mastery (EM is better for reaction-based teams).
• Goblet: Pyro DMG Bonus.
• Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG

Target Stats: (look for those in the sub-stats)

• ATK: 2000+
• CRIT rate: 50% if using Obsidian Codex, 80% if using something a different set
• CRIT DMG: 200+
• Elemental Mastery: 200+ if playing a reaction-based team, e.g. vaporize or melt

Mavuika doesn't need any Energy Recharge becauses she her Elemental Burst is different from other character's. See "Talents" for a description.

Weapons: (Best to good)

• The best weapon choice is Thousand Blazing Suns, which is her signature weapon. It gives her CRIT rate and a high base ATK.
