About Volleyball

Volleyball is a fun team sport where two teams of six players try to score points by hitting a ball over a net into the other team's side. Each team can touch the ball up to three times to return it. Points are scored when the ball lands in the opponent's court, or they can't return it. The game is played in sets, and the first team to win three sets wins. Volleyball is all about teamwork, quick movements, and good communication between players.

My Volleyball Experience

I started playing volleyball at the age of 11, when my uncle, a former volleyball player, introduced me to the sport and taught me the basics. In Year 8, I tried out for the intermediate volleyball team at SEZ and made the team. By Year 9, I had joined the Pakuranga College volleyball team, and I had the incredible opportunity to compete in the Auckland Championships. My skills and love for the game were further developed with guidance from my brother, who had been a member of the senior volleyball team at Pakuranga College.
