My experiences
I started playing basketball mid-way through year 7. I realised I was pretty good at dribbling
as I used to try dribbling a ball when I was younger but never stuck with it. Soon I found a
sport I was passionate about and started to play with my mates more. I joined a club team in
year 8 since I couldn't make one in school. I led my team to a championship winning a medal.
During my college year 9 days I made the C team for school. I then realised I was on the shorter
side than most players. But nevertheless I kept playing and getting better. Then in year 10, I
made the junior A team. Now in the present day, I continue to play the sport and get better,
working towards my goals and achieving great things.
